Welcome to Fasting Path (“App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application available on Apple App Store and Google Play, including any related features, content, or services offered by Fasting Path (collectively, the “Service”).

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

With your explicit permission, Fasting Path may access your device’s photo library solely to allow you to upload a profile picture. The Service does not access your device’s camera. We do not store or process images beyond their use as a profile photo.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

How long we retain your data: We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:

How to delete your data: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time by opening the App, going to the Profile tab, scrolling to the Account section, and tapping the red Delete Account button. After confirmation, your account is removed from our servers immediately and all local data on your device is wiped. You may also request deletion by emailing FastingPath.Support@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete My Account”; we will process such requests within 30 days.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it. We may retain limited information after account deletion only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include, without limitation, encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and secure hosting environments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

Fasting Path is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 where required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

This section applies to residents of California and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy. It is provided in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA), and their implementing regulations.

10.2 Purposes for Collection

We collect and use personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in Sections 3 and 4 of this Privacy Policy, including providing and improving the Service, processing payments, sending marketing communications (with consent), and product analytics and crash reporting.

10.3 Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not use advertising networks or ad SDKs in the App. The only third parties that receive personal information are the service providers listed in Section 6 (RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry, and our payment processors), each of which is contractually limited to providing the service we have engaged them for.

10.4 Sensitive Personal Information

Under CPRA, certain categories of personal information are classified as “sensitive.” The only sensitive personal information we collect is photo library access for profile pictures, which requires your explicit opt-in consent. We use sensitive personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected — to display your profile photo. We do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics about you.

Include your full name, the email address associated with your account, and a description of your request. We will respond within 45 days of receipt. If we require more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

Only you, or a person legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a request on behalf of your minor child.

10.7 Shine the Light Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 also permits California residents to request and obtain from us, once per calendar year, information about any personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
