Fasting Path

These Terms of Use (“Terms,” “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) and Fasting Path (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company”) governing your access to and use of the Fasting Path mobile application, related websites, and any associated services (collectively, the “Service”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 where required by applicable law) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Fasting Path provides software tools to help you plan, track, and learn about intermittent fasting, including a fasting timer, journal, knowledge library, AI-powered Q&A, gamification features (badges, streaks), and optional group fasting with friends. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
To use certain features you may need to create an account. You agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information; (b) maintain and promptly update your information; (c) keep your account credentials confidential; and (d) accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at FastingPath.Support@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Fasting Path is not a medical service. The information, content, and tools provided through the Service are for general informational and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Intermittent fasting is not appropriate for everyone. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or other healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, your diet, or before starting, stopping, or modifying any fasting regimen. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read in or through the Service.
Fasting Path is not intended for use by, and you should not use it if you are: pregnant or breastfeeding; under the age of 18; have a history of eating disorders; have type 1 diabetes or insulin-dependent type 2 diabetes; have low blood pressure or are taking medications that affect blood sugar or blood pressure; are underweight or have a body mass index (BMI) below 18.5; or have any chronic medical condition. If any of these apply to you, consult your physician before using the Service.
If you experience dizziness, weakness, faintness, chest pain, or any other adverse symptoms while fasting, stop fasting immediately and seek medical attention.
You acknowledge that any reliance on information from the Service is at your own risk. Fasting Path, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents make no representation or warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any information for your individual circumstances and disclaim all liability arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.
Fasting Path offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (“Subscriptions”) that unlock premium features. The following terms apply to all Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing.
Current Subscription plans and prices are displayed in the Service before you purchase. Prices may vary by country and may include applicable taxes. Apple and Google may convert prices into your local currency. We reserve the right to change Subscription prices at any time, but any change will not affect the price you paid for the then-current billing period. We will notify you of material price changes before they take effect.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) at the then-current price for that plan, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
If your Subscription includes a free trial or introductory offer, the trial period begins on the date of purchase. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your Subscription will automatically convert to a paid Subscription and your payment method will be charged. Each user is generally eligible for only one free trial; Apple and Google determine eligibility.
You can manage your Subscription, view renewal dates, and cancel auto-renewal at any time:
Cancelling auto-renewal stops future charges but does not provide a refund for the current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
All Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled directly by them under their respective policies, not by Fasting Path. To request a refund:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Subscription fees paid to Apple or Google are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial Subscription periods, unused features, or unused time. Statutory cancellation and refund rights under applicable consumer protection laws (for example, the European Union right of withdrawal) are not affected.
We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features included in any Subscription tier. If we make a material adverse change to features included in a Subscription you have purchased, we will give you reasonable notice and, where required by law, an opportunity to cancel.
You agree not to use the Service to:
The Service may allow you to create, post, or share content such as journal entries, profile information, group chat messages, and feedback (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Fasting Path a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical formatting), and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, and improve the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate these Terms or any third-party right.
We may, but are not obligated to, review, monitor, or remove User Content for any reason, including content that we believe in good faith violates these Terms or applicable law.
The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, images, audio, video, content, and trademarks (other than User Content), is owned by Fasting Path or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, or services (including Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, and analytics providers). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
If you obtained the Service from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Fasting Path only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Service to you. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and is entitled to enforce them against you.
If you obtained the Service from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FASTING PATH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. ANY HEALTH, NUTRITIONAL, OR FASTING-RELATED INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE (SEE SECTION 4).
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL FASTING PATH, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR (B) US$50.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fasting Path, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (d) your User Content.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also delete your account from within the App (Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete All My Data) or by emailing FastingPath.Support@gmail.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 5.5, 7–13, and 15–17) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 16, you and Fasting Path agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of California, and you and Fasting Path consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer residing in a jurisdiction whose laws grant you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts or under your local law, nothing in this Section affects those rights.
Before filing any claim, you and Fasting Path agree to try to resolve the dispute informally. You agree to first contact us at FastingPath.Support@gmail.com with a written description of the dispute, your contact information, and the relief you are seeking. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 60 days, either party may pursue formal legal action as set out in Section 15.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, by providing in-app or email notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
